Weslo Housing Management is an independent registered social landlord with a passion for doing the right thing and making a difference every day. Uniquely in Scotland, Weslo’s Board of Governance includes three Executive Directors working collaboratively with non-executive colleagues.

As we look towards the challenges facing our sector we are seeking committed and experienced people to join our Board and the Board of our private sector subsidiary company, Weslo Property Management, who can contribute ideas and bring a wider perspective to our Boardroom.

The roles

These roles require Board members to prepare for and attend eight meetings per annum (WHM) and six meetings per annum (WPM), as well as training, development, and company events. No payment is presently offered with these roles although this is currently under review for WHM. Reasonable expenses are reimbursed.

Insight, experience and a passion for making a difference around our board table is important to us so we would welcome applications from people from a range of professional backgrounds. We are particularly interested in appointing a candidate who has relevant financial expertise. Knowledge of the social and private housing sector would also be desirable.
