The charities panel at ICAS, the professional body for more than 20,000 accountants in the UK and overseas, is responsible for representing its members on a range of matters impacting the UK charity sector including public policy, law and regulation, financial reporting and auditing.
With over 20 years’ experience of working in public practice and industry, Mr Jeffrey has provided audit and technical advice to many charities and other entities across the not for profit sector and is an Independent Examiner for a number of charities throughout Scotland.
Mr Jeffrey said: “It’s a real honour to be appointed to the Panel. I’m delighted to be in a position to represent ICAS as they deliver support to those involved in the charity sector. The third sector makes a significant contribution to the growth of Scotland’s economy, the wellbeing of its citizens and the improvement of its public services.”
