And finally… blind stupidity

A bank robber who disguised himself with a pillowcase had to remove it mid-robbery when he realised he couldn’t see through it.

And finally... blind stupidity

Matthew Davies, 47, forgot to make eye holes in the pillowcase he put over his head while robbing a Bank of Scotland branch in Dunfermline last year.

He threatened staff with a meat cleaver and made off with £1,980, but was followed home by a witness and subsequently arrested.

Police recovered the cash and the pillowcase from his home.

Mr Davies pleaded guilty to a charge of assault and robbery at the High Court in Glasgow and has been remanded ahead of sentencing, the BBC reports.
