TLT announces promotions in Scotland

Law firm TLT has announced the promotion of five lawyers to partner, including Glasgow-based financial services disputes lawyer Louise Chopra, effective 1 May 2021.

Ms Chopra specialises in complex banking disputes and commercial contractual disputes.

In line with the firm’s commitment to improving gender diversity in senior positions in particular, the firm’s other newly appointed partners are litigation lawyer Emma Cork, housing and regeneration lawyer Sarah Hale, and technology & IP lawyers Juliet Mason and Ed Hayes.



Lucy Harrington, a property and commercial contract litigator based in TLT’s Glasgow office, has been promoted to legal director.

TLT has promoted 11 associates to legal director across its Bristol, London, Manchester and Glasgow offices. Seventeen lawyers have been promoted to associate.

The firm’s ongoing investment in Scotland is further demonstrated by the recent appointments of real estate partner Michael Spence, construction partner Stacey Cassidy, and legal directors Peter McGladrigan and Ainslie Benzie. Four solicitors were also appointed in the last 12 months, demonstrating TLT’s commitment to consistent and strategic growth in Scotland.
