We are the major provider and manager of affordable housing in Lochalsh and Skye and currently have more than 700 properties in our portfolio. We have an active development programme of new projects and a substantial asset management budget for our existing stock.

Director of Finance Services
Grade 9, Points 7-9
Salary Scale: £51,975 - £54,733

The successful applicant will be a fully qualified accountant responsible to the Chief Executive for the efficient and effective delivery of our Finance Services functions.

You will be self-motivated and will manage a small staff team involved in the production of our Financial Plans, Management Accounts and Annual Financial Statements. You will also be responsible for the management of our Rent Accounting activities which currently include the collection of £3.1 million per annum.

You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with our financial policies and procedures and with all financial regulatory requirements.

This is an interesting and challenging role which requires a blend of professional and personal skills. You will have excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills. You will also need to be highly IT literate, have drive and determination and be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to problem solving.
