Accountancy firm Anderson Anderson & Brown LLP (AAB) has revealed that it is targeting £5 million consulting revenue within the next 3 years with the launch of a dedicated consulting business; Anderson Anderson & Brown Consulting Limited (AAB Consulting).

AAB’s existing consulting division will transfer to the new entity in order to provide a platform for rapid growth following a period of substantial development and considerable increase in demand for services.

Heading up AAB Consulting as chief executive is Bill Kane.

Mr Kane joined the firm as a Director in 2017 to develop and grow a full service consulting business across six key value streams, strategy, operations, human capital, supply chain, IT/digital and data analytics.

Prior to joining AAB, he was a Partner with PwC & Deloitte and Global Leader of IBM’s Business Services Operations Strategy practice.

At the same time, Alasdair Green has been promoted to Consulting Director.

AAB said Mr Green has a broad range of consulting experience and leads the delivery of UK wide and international client projects within the strategy, operations and human capital value streams.

He will lead AAB Consulting’s Energy team, with a particular focus on advising Oil & Gas upstream and service businesses.

AAB Consulting chief executive Bill Kane, said: “As well as establishing an impressive in-house consulting team, which is continuing to expand with several key appointments pending, we also continue to work with our Associate Network of highly experienced consulting professionals. This dynamic combination of experience gives us a significant track record spanning a broad spectrum of industry sectors as we build a consulting business from Scotland. The consulting business will remain an integral part of the AAB group as we continue to work together across the firm to provide our clients with the very best value-added service.”

AAB managing partner Graeme Allan, added: “We are hugely excited about the growth prospects within AAB Consulting and this new business structure will provide us with the opportunity to grow rapidly in this space, working with strategic partners to deliver a growing number of consulting projects across the UK and internationally.”
