ACCA extends support for Scottish Accountancy & Finance Awards

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has today announced its continued support and sponsorship of the Scottish Accountancy & Finance Awards until at least 2020.

The Scottish Accountancy and Finance Awards recognise the work undertaken by accountants who play a vital role in ensuring the effectiveness of both private and public sector organisations.

Commenting upon the relationship, Craig Vickery, head of ACCA Scotland, said: “The accounting and finance profession in Scotland is vital to the development of business and growth in the Scottish economy.

“ACCA have been heavily involved with the awards, now in their 11th year, since the first ceremony. The extension of the relationship demonstrates the value of the awards to the Scottish finance profession.

“We are proud to actively support excellence in both current and future generations of accounting professionals.”

Nominations for the 2018 awards which will be presented at a ceremony in the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow on 14 June 2018 are now open.
