Alistair Douglas has joined rockwealth Edinburgh after almost two decades with RBC Brewin Dolphin.
Mr Douglas announced the move after nearly 20 years at the wealth management firm, where he built his career advising clients and developing long-term client relationships.
He joins rockwealth Edinburgh alongside his friend and now business partner David Bowen, as the pair look to develop the firm’s presence in the Scottish capital.
Mr Douglas said the opportunity to focus on providing personal financial advice through a transparent fixed-fee pricing model was a key factor behind his decision to make the move.
Announcing his appointment, he said: “What really attracted me was the opportunity to focus on what matters most to me: delivering high-quality, personal advice through a transparent fixed-fee pricing model.
“It is an approach I genuinely believe in, and I am excited to be joining a business with a fresh approach to wealth management that aligns closely with my own values.”
Reflecting on his departure from RBC Brewin Dolphin, Mr Douglas said he was grateful for the opportunity to work alongside colleagues and build lasting relationships with clients over almost two decades.
He added: “For me, it has never been about the biggest office or the fanciest brand; it has always been about putting clients first and building relationships based on trust, honesty, respect and integrity.”
