Alliance Trust Savings top of FCA complaints table

Dundee-based investment platform Alliance Trust Savings has been named among the most complained about providers in the latest FCA complaints data.

ATS was the most complained about in regard to decumulation and pensions, with 26.4 complaints per 1,000 client accounts in the regulator’s breakdown.

In terms of investments, ATS also saw an average of 14.1 complaints per 1,000 client accounts.



With an average of 5.18 complaints per 1,000 customers, Edinburgh-based Scottish Widows under the Lloyds Group was also included in the FCA’s investment “top 10”.

A total of 3.76m complaints were received by the FCA during the second half of 2017, up 13 per cent on the first half of the year.
