The appointment follows a period of challenging trading conditions for the home improvement business. Prior to taking steps to wind up the business, the company’s director, Alan Paul, undertook a comprehensive review of all available options to secure its future. Despite exploring various alternatives, it was determined that continuing to trade was no longer viable.

Consequently, the director petitioned the court to place the company into liquidation to protect the interests of its creditors and stakeholders.

The firm has been in business since 2000 and had eleven employees, all of whom have been made redundant. 

Richard Bathgate said: “Following a sustained period of difficult trading, the director reviewed all potential alternative options to preserve the business. Ultimately, however, liquidation was identified as the necessary course of action. 

“Our immediate priority is to assess the company’s position and protect the interests of the creditors, customers, and employees affected by this process. We understand this is an uncertain time for all parties involved and are committed to keeping stakeholders informed as the liquidation progresses.”
