The lot is being hailed as one of the most expensive Beatles auctions ever held, the Guardian reports.

The collection includes a section of TV set wall that made up the backdrop to the Beatles’ Ed Sullivan show appearance that boosted their fame, as well as clothes, speakers, signed contracts and a birthday card from George Harrison to his caretaker.
