And finally… banking on manners

And finally... banking on manners

A man has been arrested on suspicion of robbing a bank just three days after being acquitted of robbing a different bank.

Chicago man Mohamed Worku, 31, was acquitted of bank robbery on Friday after a jury found that his alleged actions were not intimidating enough to meet the definition of robbery.

The court in that case heard that he had walked into a bank and left with money after handing over a note which simply said “Give me the money Please Thank You”.

On Monday, three days after his acquittal and release from custody, Mr Worku allegedly walked into a different bank and handed over a similarly polite note asking for money.

He is back in custody and now faces charges of both bank robbery and bank theft, the latter of which does not require evidence of intimidation, the Chicago Tribune reports.
