And finally... detected

A detectorist who has been finding artefacts for two decades has made over £13,000 at auction after selling her finds.

Nettie Edmonson made £13,115 selling her items at auction.

The collection included a 4th Century gold Roman coin, which fetched £2,000. Other high earning items included a 2nd Century gold Roman ring which went for £1,800 and an inscribed posy ring that could date back to the Elizabethan era which was sold for £1,500.

When combined with previous private sales and other auctions from the last year, Edmonson estimates that she has now earned between £30,000 and £35,000 from her hobby, BBC News reports.
