And finally… gotta catch ‘em all!

A man who allegedly obtained a fraudulent Covid-19 business loan and used it to buy a rare Pokémon card is facing prosecution.

And finally... gotta catch 'em all!

Vinath Oudomsine, from the US state of Georgia, was charged last week with one count of wire fraud after an investigation into the economic injury disaster loan he received.

He is accused of lying about how many people he employed and how much revenue his business generated in order to secure the $85,000 loan.

Prosecutors say he subsequently spent $57,789  – more than two-thirds of the value of the loan – on a rare Pokémon card, the Macon Telegraph reports.

It has not yet been made public which Pokémon was on the card.
