Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia has revealed plans to build a £1 trillion skyscraper which will stretch to 75 miles along the desert.

The project, named The Line at Neom, will comprise of two parallel mirrored buildings which will be almost 500 metres tall.

The crown prince has said that the project will “drive diversification” and contribute 380,000 jobs of the future and boost domestic GDP by 2030.



The two buildings will be connected via walkways, and a high-speed train will run underneath them, the buildings will run from the Gulf of Aqaba through to a mountain resort, all with a suspended sports complex, a marina to moor yachts and a complex that will house the Saudi government.
