And finally... kebabing a laugh

A giant kebab costume has been sold at auction for over C$16,000.

The bidding war was fuelled by arguments over the recipe for Canada’s answer to the kebab.

The donair mascot costume, which is a pita stuffed with thinly sliced spiced beef, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce and wrapped in foil, sold for C$16,025 (£9,343) at a government auction.

The debate stems over whether lettuce belongs in the food, The Guardian reports.
