In an upcoming auction featuring over 1,800 pieces of film and TV memorabilia, the iconic C-3PO head, famously worn by Anthony Daniels in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, is anticipated to be the star attraction, fetching a sum of up to £1 million.

The piece from Mr Daniels’ personal trove is accompanied by Indiana Jones’s celebrated bullwhip with an estimated value of up to £200,000.

Meanwhile, horror aficionados may vie for Freddy Krueger’s glove from A Nightmare On Elm Street, which might draw bids between £200,000 and £400,000. Other items include DiCaprio’s Jack Dawson costume from Titanic and Captain America’s shield from the 2011 Marvel film with price tags estimated between £100,000 to £200,000 and £50,000 to £100,000 respectively, Sky News reports.

Organised by Propstore, the auction is scheduled for 9 November and holds an overall estimated value surpassing £12m.
