And finally… quids game
Cryptocurrency scammers made off with more than £1.5 million after duping investors into buying a fake currency named after hit Netflix show Squid Game.

Investors were invited to buy “SQUID” cryptocurrency in order to participate in an online video game which developers promised was “coming soon”.
But after the price of SQUID soared to more than £2,000, the scammers ditched the project and ran away with all the invested funds.
Ordinary investors in SQUID were unable to sell the cryptocurrency, but the scammers were able to make off with the whole sum, totalling around £1.5 million (or $2.1 million USD).
Alarm bells had been raised in advance over the fact investors were able to purchase the crypto but not sell it, Gizmodo reports.
