And finally... window pain

Two major airlines are being sued for allegedly misleading customers by offering window seats which don’t have windows.

Greenbaum Olbrantz LLP has filed proposed class action lawsuits against Delta Air Lines in New York and against United Airlines in California.

Both airlines say it is inevitable that some passengers in so-called window seats – as opposed to aisle seats – will end up next to walls on certain planes.

However, attorney Casey Olbrantz told NBC Bay Area that both airlines were guilty of an “unfair and misleading business practice they could fix overnight”.

Some passengers could have paid a premium for access to a window which they are subsequently denied, the firm argues.
