Bank of Scotland recruits new senior manager for Glasgow

Bank of Scotland has announced the appointment Scott McKerracher who joined the business from Clydesdale Bank as the Edinburgh-based lender’s new senior manager for Glasgow.

With 30 years’ experience, Mr McKerracher’s new role at BoS will be to head up a team of relationship managers and support the growing SME business market in Glasgow and the west of Scotland.

Mr McKerracher’s leadership roles in banking stretch across numerous area of the Scottish economy, including food and drink, hospitality, manufacturing, retail and franchising, professional services, property, healthcare, renewables and oil and gas.



He has held a managing partner for Glasgow and a regional directorship for Scotland forging significant strategic and operational knowledge of bank operations and the regulatory environment.

Most recently, Mr McKerracher was regional director for the East of Scotland at Clydesdale, overseeing corporate, acquisition finance, commercial, small business and private banking, he also lead responsibility for commercial banking across the UK, as well as managing the Glasgow-based bank’s national industry sector team.
