Campbell Dallas appoints new specialist tax director

Stephen Dodds, a specialist in tax advisory work for owner managed businesses, has joined Campbell Dallas as a tax director within the firm’s tax consultancy group.

Having previously worked as a tax specialist for two of the ‘big four’ accountancy firms and a leading law firm, Mr Dodds, who is a CA, a Chartered Tax Adviser and a former solicitor, has over 16 years of experience advising businesses on M&A, tax due diligence, optimising tax reliefs and managing tax risks, succession, exit planning and readiness, employee incentives, share schemes, and personal tax issues.

As well as having particular expertise in real estate matters, having been a member of the Scottish Property Federation’s Tax Committee, Mr Dodds’ career has seen him advise owner-managed businesses, high net worth individuals, multinational listed groups, private equity funds and their investee companies.
