Central Investment adds to advisory team

Aberdeen-based independent financial advisers, Central Investment, has expanded its team of financial experts.

The firm has welcomed chartered financial planner Wayne Baber, who brings with him more than 15 years’ experience having previously held senior positions with a number of leading financial firms.

In his new role, Mr Baber will mainly focus his extensive financial planning experience on private clients.

Derek Robertson, managing director of Central Investment, said: “Wayne’s role is to assist the company in its continuing growth, as part of Central Investment’s expanding advisory team. His wealth of experience and knowledge of financial planning will provide both new and long standing clients with expert guidance.”

This latest appointment comes as part of the firm’s strategic growth plans, which has seen key additions to its administrative, advisory and management teams over the past year, as well as the appointment of a non-executive director.
