The joint venture between Elevator, a social enterprise that supports start-up businesses in Scotland, and Balmoral Group, @balmoralHUB originally opened for business in August 2017.

Due to demand for space within the facility a second floor of the three-storey pavilion opened doors in spring this year, offering executive office space and meeting rooms for a further 15 businesses.

Designed to a premium specification @balmoralHUB offers high speed fibre connection, energy-efficient lighting, heating and air conditioning with parking for more than 130 vehicles.

Six new tenants have already signed up for the second floor including C&I Engineering Solutions, an independent team of highly skilled engineers, who signed a two-year lease for 1,500sqft.

ProSep, an Aberdeen-based oilfield supplier and one of Elevator’s longstanding tenants, has agreed a lease on the new floor, while human resources consultants, HR Hub, creative agency, Snap Digital, cyber security provider, The Tech Force and video production specialists, Urbane Media will all occupy further suites.

Karen Pugh, property director at Elevator, said: “The expansion into the second floor of the pavilion underlines a positive change within the Aberdeen office space market.

“The stature of our new tenants is testament to @balmoral HUB’s flexible offering and highlights the need for affordable, high-tech office facilities.

“Positioned in a prime location which has seen, and continues to see, development of the surrounding area including the newly opened AWPR, @balmoralHUB is the jewel in our property portfolio crown; it fundamentally closes a gap in Aberdeen’s commercial property market.”

Jim Milne, chairman and managing director of Balmoral Group, said: “We look forward to welcoming new tenants to @balmoralHUB. Our partnership with Elevator is proving to be a winner and their tenants are enjoying the very best of facilities at extremely attractive rates.

“It is clear the commercial office market has reacted well to this relatively new and unique offering.”

In addition to @balmoralHUB, Elevator manages flexible office space to new and existing businesses at 20 locations across Scotland, from Perth to Forres.
