Elizabeth Young CA joins Forvis Mazars as risk assurance partner in Glasgow

Forvis Mazars has welcomed a new partner to its Scottish risk consulting service line with the appointment of Chartered Accountant Elizabeth Young, who joins the firm’s Glasgow office.
In this role, Ms Young will establish and grow a dedicated risk assurance practice in the region, with a particular focus on public sector clients.

Ms Young brings nearly 20 years of expertise in risk assurance and audit. Her career spans senior in-house roles and, as a consultant, she has delivered outsourced internal audit services for public sector organisations, as well as commercial and third sector clients.

Ms Young is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). She is also a member of ICAS’s Audit and Assurance Panel, bringing an internal audit perspective to support the panel’s work on advancing audit quality and best practice.
