Financial sector expert Jennifer Mellor joins Burges Salmon as director

Burges Salmon has appointed Jennifer Mellor as a director in its funds and financial regulation team.

Ms Mellor previously held the position of senior associate at Brodies in the funds and investment management team.

With extensive experience in the financial services sector, Ms Mellor frequently provides advice to asset managers, investment funds, investment platforms, pension schemes, and family offices. Her proficiency spans various areas, including the establishment of private investment funds and investing into funds of diverse asset classes. She has tackled regulatory matters such as AIFMD, MiFID, and SMCR.



Before joining Brodies, Ms Mellor had in-house roles at Alliance Trust Savings and Royal London.

She said: “As Burges Salmon’s presence in the Scottish market continues to increase, I’m excited to join the team in Edinburgh at such an exciting time as part of its ambitious strategy for growth.
