The fintech giant, which employs more than 1,500 people around the world, has recently redesigned its programme for graduates to incorporate advanced technical industry training, an extensive on-boarding period, mentoring from experts in various financial, technology, regulatory and risk management roles and a structured curriculum of professional development.

The move to formalise its offer to graduates comes at a time when a recent report [1] forecasts that the UK’s fintech sector is set to grow to more than 100,000 employees by the year 2030 and 82 per cent of companies polled stated that they already face difficulties in recruiting.

FNZ wants to recruit over 100 people onto its graduate programmes in 2019, spread across its various locations in Europe, Asia, New Zealand, and Australia. Successful graduate applicants will undertake positions in areas such development, investment operations, solution consulting and work with FNZ’s world-leading financial clients.

FNZ is responsible for more than £330 billion in assets under administration, held by around five million customers of some of the world’s largest financial institutions, including Standard Life Aberdeen, Barclays, Lloyds Bank, Vanguard, Generali, Quilter, Santander, Aviva, Zurich, UOB, UBS, Findex and BNZ.

Richard Bolger, chief human resources officer at FNZ, said: “FNZ is a growth business and I’m pleased to say that we continue to grow apace, benefiting from the investment being made in our own technology and processes, our scale, and the effort and dedication of our highly-skilled people.”

As part of this ongoing investment and desire to continue on that trajectory, we’ve redesigned our graduate programmes with the aim of attracting the very best graduates from around the world, to ensure we continue to be an industry innovator.”

We offer a fast-paced meritocratic environment, where talent, ambition and results are more important than years of service. We offer unparalleled career opportunities and progression, as well as the opportunity to spend time working in a number of different global locations.”

We want to create exciting opportunities for our graduates and support them to become leaders in their own right. Ultimately, it’s in our interest to ensure we attract, upskill and keep top talent, to diversify and continue to innovate across all areas of the business.”

FNZ accepts applications from outstanding graduates from across the World’s top 500 universities, from a range of disciplines. Thousands of applicants apply for the programme each year with only the very best candidates selected for roles following an extensive assessment and interview process.

The graduate programmes have been redesigned to focus on emerging trends in graduate skills and development with FNZ’s ambition to harness the full potential of graduates and staff. Participants can now serve an intensive three month induction programme, six monthly rotations, working internationally and completing additional industry courses and qualifications in order to build exposure and understanding of the wider workings of the organisation.
