FRP Advisory appointed at Aberdeenshire care home as it enters liquidation

All 82 members of staff have been made redundant at Lawson Muirhead Home Limited after the company entered voluntary liquidation today.

Iain Fraser and Tom MacLennan, partners at specialist business advisory firm FRP Advisory LLP, have been appointed as joint liquidators.

The company operated the Lawson Muirhead care home in Aberdeenshire, which had its registration cancelled by Aberdeen Sheriff Court earlier this month following an application from the Care Inspectorate. The home closed on 31st August and the company ceased trading, resulting in .
