Global energy sector inspection and technical services firm Fulkrum, which has operations in Aberdeen, has appointed Louisa Poole as its new chief financial officer (CFO) to support the company’s ongoing international expansion.

With a career spanning almost three decades in wealth management, manufacturing, healthcare, logistics and private equity-backed ventures, Ms Poole brings a wealth of expertise overseeing global financial operations in the UK, Europe, Asia, and the USA. She is an experienced financial director and chartered accountant with a track record supporting mergers and acquisitions, large-scale ERP implementations, strategic capital optimisation, and organisational transformation for global enterprises.

Fulkrum’s global vice president, Brock Falkenhagen, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Louisa to Fulkrum. Strengthening our existing leadership team, Louisa’s extensive expertise will support our ongoing financial strategy and international expansion.

“Louisa’s pragmatic leadership and commitment to operational excellence are matched by her passion for giving back to her local community which is demonstrated through her work as a voluntary governor and trustee for a large hospice. We look forward to working with Louisa as we enter this next period of growth.”

Ms Poole’s appointment follows a strong 2024 for Fulkrum in which it achieved over 40% year-on-year growth and expanded its service portfolio with the launch of Asset Integrity Management (AIM) services. Established in 2011, Fulkrum operates in five key regions – North America, South America, Europe and Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, and has a proven track record working with some of the world’s leading operators, EPC contractors and service providers.
