Funding programme in £1000k loan offer to Fife firms

The loans, which replace the old East of Scotland Investment Fund, are available to all eligible businesses who meet the set criteria whilst also demonstrating their commercial viability.

BLS said small and medium-sized firms could be eligible for funding gap loans, provided all other available funding options have been exhausted.

Business Loans Scotland is a consortium of Scotland’s Local Authorities working together to provide loan finance to new and growing businesses throughout Scotland.

It said sole traders and partnerships with three or fewer partners can also apply for loans of more than £25,000.

Companies which apply must be able to demonstrate how their business will benefit the economy.

Businesses in manufacturing, construction and tourism are likely to qualify but any eligible company which benefits the economy has been encouraged to apply.
