Healthy house sales in Perthshire predicted to continue this year 

Statistics published by property experts show that 779 properties sold for a total of just under £134 million in Perthshire last year. And positive trends in the property market could continue in 2017, according to Perthshire Solicitors Property Centre (PSPC). Like previous years, the second half of 2016 saw more sales than the first quarter, while the third quarter saw the highest number of sales. The average sale price last year was £171,469. The number of new properties coming onto market was down slightly, in keeping with national trends. PSPC manager Anne Begg said: “The market has dipped a little but there have been many positives.”
