Henderson Loggie appointed as administrator to  DJ Mackay & Partners

Henderson Loggie have been appointed as the administrator of DJ Mackay & Partners after it fell into administration following financial difficulties.

Shona Campbell, head of business recovery  and insolvency at Henderson Loggie was appointed on August 14, confirming the process of transferring client files is expected to conclude by the end of the month.

Glasgow based DJ Mackay & Partners, which was founded in 2017, specialises in personal injury claims. The firm, which employs 16 people, have confirmed they have notified the Law Society of Scotland of the administration.

 

Shona Campbell said:The firm has experienced financial difficulties and the partners concluded that administration was the appropriate course of action. Our immediate priority as administrators is to secure all client files, protect confidential information and ensure continuity of service for individuals whose matters are currently in progress.

“We are working closely with relevant regulators and stakeholders to continue arrangements for the orderly transfer and ongoing management of live cases. We will ensure that affected staff are fully supported throughout any redundancy process.”

Donald Mackay, director of DJ Mackay & Partners, said: “This was an extremely difficult decision and not one taken lightly. We want to thank our staff for their hard work and professionalism throughout, and we apologise to clients for any disruption caused. The firm is cooperating fully with the administrators to ensure an orderly and responsible handover.”
