Henderson Loggie has appointed Christine Rolland as head of forensic accounting, marking a significant investment in the continued growth of the firm’s specialist advisory services.

Ms Rolland takes up the role after six years with the firm as director bringing 17 years’ experience in expert witness work, spanning contentious valuations, business interruption claims and complex investigations.

Ms Rolland will lead the development of Henderson Loggie’s forensic accounting offering, working closely with legal firms and Counsel across Scotland and the UK. She will be supported by Peter Graham, who has worked alongside Ms Rolland to build the specialist practice and will continue to play a central role in its long term development.

To further strengthen the team, the firm has added to its capability with the appointment of Natalie Grant as assistant manager, increasing capacity to deliver high quality analysis and expert reporting to assist solicitors to best advise their clients and ultimately to assist the court in its function.

Ms Rolland said: “It’s a real privilege to step into this role at such an important time for the firm’s forensic accounting practice. The need for clear, independent and technically robust analysis continues to grow as legal teams recognise the value we bring to complex cases.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to work closely with solicitors and Counsel as they support their clients through situations that can often be both challenging and sensitive.

“Strengthening the team puts us in a strong position to meet the sustained increase in demand for our services that we have seen over the last two years whilst maintaining the highest standards of work, and I’m excited to help develop the next generation of forensic accounting specialists.”

David Smith, managing partner at Henderson Loggie, said: “Christine is a highly respected specialist in her field, and her experience and reputation will be invaluable as we continue to grow this area of the business.

“Her appointment, together with the wider expansion of the team, underlines our commitment to investing in the expertise our clients rely on and in the development of our people. We are also very pleased to welcome Natalie to the firm as we strengthen the foundations for the next phase of growth.”
