Accountancy firm Henderson Loggie has strengthened its restructuring team with the appointment of a new director in its Edinburgh office.

Shona Campbell has joined Henderson Loggie from KPMG and will be responsible for providing advice to stressed and distressed companies, predominantly in the Central Belt.

She has twenty years of experience, most recently providing debt advice to small and medium sized companies with KPMG. Prior to that she worked as a senior manager in restructuring teams for KPMG and Deloitte.

David Smith, managing partner at Henderson Loggie, said: “It is a pleasure to welcome Shona to our firm. She brings with her two decades of valuable experience advising prosperous businesses as well as those facing difficulty. Her appointment strengthens the value of our business advisory services and is a mark of our investment in growth.

“We help our clients build resilience into their businesses, through advising on strong financial management accountancy practice and providing leadership training through our Business Leader Groups. Restructuring is a part of our integrated service and Shona’s depth of understanding of the issues distressed companies face and wealth of expertise in business recovery will be instrumental in ensuring the most successful outcomes for our clients.”

Ms Campbell herself said: “I am delighted to be joining such a well-respected firm. Most businesses face financial challenges at some point and seeking early advice from a restructuring professional means business owners have time to assess the range of options and strategies that are open to them. It is very rewarding to guide businesses through the tough times to brighter futures.”
