Infinity Partnership in multi-million pound investment

Aberdeen accountancy firm Infinity Partnership has targeted further growth after a multi-million-pound investment in a new office – more than double the size of its previous location.

The award-winning accountancy and business advisory firm has moved from Albert Street in the Granite City to a prestigious stand-alone office on nearby Carden Place.

Infinity, which has won at the British Accountancy Awards for the past three years, has a staff of 17 and is on track to increase turnover from £2.1 million to £2.3 million for its 2018 financial year-end in May.

The new office has capacity for 40 people, providing the business with the room required to accommodate anticipated growth.

The business has in recent years carved out a niche in research and development tax credit claims, with more than £80 million worth of claims made in the past year. It has been 100 per cent successful in claims made using its own processes. In addition, Infinity has recently seen a revival in investment, merger and acquisition activity.

Simon Cowie, MD at Infinity Partnership

Simon Cowie, managing director of Infinity Partnership, said: “We’re delighted with the Carden Place office, which is finished to an exceptionally high standard.

“The move reflects our confidence in, and commitment to, the Aberdeen market. We know that our offering of a broad range of strategic advice to complement traditional accountancy services is appealing to clients, so it’s important for us to have additional space available to allow us to grow.

“We’ve moved with the times in terms of cloud-based accountancy solutions and offering services and advice to support business continuity. This has led to a client retention rate of 99% and recognition by our peers with national awards.

“It’s a very exciting time for the business and we’re looking forward to the next phase of growth.”

In addition, Simon said Infinity was looking to add ambitious people to the team, particularly in the tax arena, and to augment its growing number of international clients and partnerships.
