Jeffcoat steps up to partnership role at Alexander Sloan

David Jeffcoat has been appointed partner in the Edinburgh office of Alexander Sloan, one of Scotland’s longest established firms of Accountants and Business Advisers which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year.

A graduate of the University of Leeds in Economics and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), he joined the firm in 2003 and was appointed an Associate in 2013.

Mr Jeffcoat’s focus is on providing external audit and assurance services and management advisory services to business start-ups and charities.



He said: “I trained at Alexander Sloan, one of Scotland’s oldest firms of accountants, and I am excited to be taking on the role of Partner.

“The firm is celebrating its 150th Anniversary this year and I intend to play a key part in continuing the long history of the firm.”

Phil Morrice, managing partner of Alexander Sloan, said: “2017 is a very significant year for our firm and David’s accession to the partnership is very welcome.

“I believe he will carry on the Alexander Sloan tradition of excellence in both client service and technical accounting matters long into the future.”
