Johnston Carmichael Wealth appoints new financial planner in Inverness

Robbie Chisholm
Johnston Carmichael Wealth has strengthened its team with the appointment of Robbie Chisholm as a financial planner.
Mr Chisholm joins from Tweed Wealth Management Ltd, a senior partner practice of St James’s Place Wealth Management. There he worked as a financial planner providing holistic financial planning services to individuals and businesses. Prior to that, he was a financial planner at John Home Wealth Management.
In his new role at Johnston Carmichael Wealth, he will manage a portfolio of both individual high-net worth and corporate clients, developing planning strategies to help them secure their financial goals.
Mr Chisholm’s appointment follows that of Leigh Townsley, Chartered Financial Planner, in June, as Johnston Carmichael Wealth continues to grow, comprising 15 financial planners and a broader team of more than 60 professionals.
In March, Johnston Carmichael Wealth was acquired by Partners Wealth Management (PWM). As part of the 7IM group, PWM looks after assets totalling c. £6bn on behalf of c. 5,500 private clients.
Robbie Chisholm, financial planner at Johnston Carmichael Wealth, said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Johnston Carmichael Wealth at such an exciting time in its journey.
“The firm’s chartered status and its reputation for delivering exceptional client service were major draws for me. I’m looking forward to working alongside a talented team and contributing to the continued growth of the business under PWM.
“Helping clients navigate complex financial decisions and reach financial freedom is what drives me, and I’m eager to bring that passion to my new role.”
Craig Hendry, managing director at Johnston Carmichael, Wealth said: “Robbie’s extensive experience and client-centric approach make him a strong addition to our growing team of financial planners in Inverness.
“As we continue to expand, it’s vital that we bring in professionals who not only have the technical expertise but also share our commitment to delivering a high-quality, personalised service. Robbie embodies those values, and we’re excited to see the impact he’ll make.”
