Deeside Timberframe has bolstered its senior management team with the appointment of a new finance director and a realignment of roles to support its ambitious growth plans.

The Stonehaven-based timber systems design, manufacture and installation firm has appointed Kirsten Bell as finance director.

Previously finance director of sister company, Bancon Construction, for almost six years, Ms Bell has held the role of ERP (enterprise, resource planning) project manager with Deeside Timberframe for 18 months during which she delivered significant improvements in systems and reporting.

With 16 years’ experience in finance in the construction industry, she held financial controller roles with Chap Group Ltd and Mansell before joining Bancon Construction.

Her appointment has strengthened the senior management team which has been realigned to deliver the growth plans.

David Crawford, managing director of Deeside Timberframe, said: “Our restructured senior management team is now fully aligned with our business plan which seeks to deliver significant growth over the next three to five years by capitalising on our strong market position and the increasing demand for modern, sustainable construction.

“We’re thrilled that Kirsten is taking up the role of finance director after transforming our systems and reporting. She will be ably supported by Derek, Stewart and John in their new roles which are more commercially focused, enabling us to better pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and reinforcing our relationships with existing customers.”
