Lindsays has appointed Ken Dinneen as its new head of finance, taking over from Jim Kinloch, who retires after seven years with the firm.
Mr Dinneen brings decades of experience in legal services to his new role, which commenced last week. He joins Lindsays from Balfour & Manson, where he served as Finance Director. His career in accountancy spans over 30 years, beginning at Henderson Boyd Jackson WS.
He said: “I am really excited to be joining Lindsays. I have heard so many good things about the firm and the way it works. Its ethos and culture very much appeal to me.
“I am looking forward to playing my part as the firm continues to grow.”
Welcoming Mr Dinneen, Lindsays’ chief operating officer, Ian Beattie, said: “We are delighted to have someone of Ken’s calibre join us in this important role.
“His financial acumen, combined with detailed understanding of the legal services sector, makes him an ideal fit for us. It’s vital that we have the right team in place to support our lawyers, as well as the firm strategically. I look forward to working closely with him in the years ahead.”
Lindsays, a full-service firm, employs just over 350 partners, solicitors and staff, working across offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Perth and Crieff.
