Mearns & Company promotes Steven McKay and Graeme McInally to associate directors
Steven McKay and Graeme McInally, two of the advisory team at Mearns & Company, have moved into new associate director roles.
Steven McKay, head of employee benefits, and Graeme McInally, chartered financial planner and planning team leader both stepped into their new roles in January 2021. Mr McKay has taken on the role of associate director – employee benefits, and Mr McInally has taken on the role of chartered financial planner and associate director – Private Client.
Catherine Bell, managing director, said: “The promotions of Steven and Graeme are in recognition of their hard work and dedication to Mearns & Company, and represent our ambitions for them to help strengthen and diversify our Senior Management Team. Steven and Graeme are taking on increased leadership responsibilities with their new positions, and I am delighted to have supported them into these leadership positions.

Steven McKay joined Mearns & Company in 2011. On his promotion, he said: “I appreciate the support and opportunities the company has provided over the last ten years to help develop the knowledge and experience necessary to move into this role. We have a great team and I’m excited about working with them to continually improve the employee benefits service we deliver.”
Graeme McInally joined the firm in 2012. On his promotion, he added: “Approaching my tenth year at Mearns & Company, I’m delighted to be taking this next step. I’m very passionate about the service and advice that we provide to clients and, in the new role, I look forward to helping ensure that high standards are maintained throughout the business so that we, as a team, continue to grow and develop.”
