North East firm triumphs at annual financial awards

A Scottish financial services company is celebrating after winning a prestigious award in recognition of its innovative practices.

Phil Anderson Financial Services Ltd, which has offices in Caithness, Aberdeen, and Ellon, won the Best Financial Advisory Firm category for Northern Scotland at the Wealth & Finance magazine’s 2015 Finance Awards.

The company, which specialises in mortgages, insurance, investments and pensions, and employs seven staff across its three offices, was recently awarded the accolade due to its pioneering approach since investing in new technology and equipment that has seen its business turnover increase severely.

Phil Anderson, managing director of Phil Anderson Financial Services, said: “I am delighted that we have been recognised in the awards as the Best Financial Advisory Firm in Northern Scotland. Operating throughout three offices over the Highlands and Islands, and the North-east of Scotland, the business has seen great margins and we are hoping to increase these, and our services further in the New Year.
