Orkney accountancy expands to mainland
Orkney-based accountancy and advisory firm CRC is expanding to the mainland with the acquisition of Aberdeenshire’s BBKS & Co.
The Banchory practice has been owned for four decades by its founder Louise Birse who is retiring.
Under the acquisition, the BBKS team will remain in place and there is expected to be more jobs in both offices.
CRC was founded eight years ago from Calvin Cooper’s home office and has since expanded to 10 staff.
It has served a number of clients on the Scottish mainland for several years, but having a base and team in Aberdeenshire “will make a world of difference to us,” said Mr Cooper (pictured).
