Partners take over Henderson Loggie’s Glasgow office

Henderson Loggie Chartered Accountants has announced that the firm’s Glasgow business has been acquired by its Glasgow Partners; Douglas Woodhouse, Susan Wood, Stephen McKelvie and Kenneth McEwen, who will cease to be members of the partnership immediately.

The Glasgow business, which trades from Mitchell Street in the city centre, will be known as Cornerstone Accountants.

Henderson Loggie will continue to trade from its offices in Dundee, Aberdeen and Edinburgh and from its new office in West George Street, Glasgow, where the West Coast Corporate Finance and Restructuring & Insolvency operations will be based.

Alan Davis, Chairman of Henderson Loggie, said: “We wish the exiting Partners well for the future. It has been a smooth transition and we are enthusiastic about continuing to invest in our operations across Scotland. We will continue to work together to ensure joint assignments are concluded to the highest possible standard.”

Susan Wood, formerly a Partner at Henderson Loggie and now a Partner at Cornerstone, said: “We are excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead, but our immediate message to clients and staff alike is that it’s very much business as usual.
