Quilter adds SRB Financial Planning to advice network
Quilter has added Bellshill-based SRB Financial Planning to its advice network as a strategic partner firm.
The family-run company was founded in 2010 and has approximately £250m in assets under advice.
Headed by principal Steve Brough, it has three advisers supported by a six-person team across paraplanning and client services.
He said the firm, which was recently rebranded from SRB Wealth Management, had “undertaken a comprehensive review of the market” before selecting Quilter as a partner.
“Throughout that process, it became increasingly clear that our clients’ expectations had evolved,” he told FT Adviser.
“We wanted a proposition that offered flexibility, high-quality investment solutions, modern technology, excellent operational support and a brand that complemented the personalised, client-centric advice the team and I are committed to delivering.”
Warren Vickers, managing director of Quilter Financial Planning, said: “Strategic partner firms play an important role within our network, combining strong local client relationships with the ambition and capability to grow their business further.
“SRB Financial Planning is a well-established, family-run business that has built long-standing relationships with its clients.
“That continuity, alongside a clear focus on delivering high-quality financial planning, is exactly what we look for in firms joining our network.”
