SCC Impact Report reveals major policy wins and international expansion

The Scottish Chambers of Commerce (SCC) shared its 2025 Impact Report with Chambers across Scotland at its Annual General Meeting, highlighting a year of strategic growth, international expansion, and policy influence.

Key achievements include:

  • £500,000 boost to SCC’s International Trade Partnership with the Scottish Government
  • Landmark trade missions to New York, Barcelona, and the Philippines
  • Over £90 million secured for employability and energy transition programmes

The report also highlights SCC’s growing global footprint, including a cooperation agreement with the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce and the first educational trade partnership between Scotland and Pakistan. SCC’s policy wins include securing funding for the Acorn carbon capture project, advocating for business rates relief, and influencing the extension of fuel duty freezes.
