Scotland’s flagship Nissan dealership hails 50% sale increase in first year
The man in charge of Scotland’s flagship Nissan dealership says it has recorded a 50 per cent increase in sales since the new multi-million pound showroom was launched a year ago.
Specialist Cars Nissan Aberdeen has just celebrated its first year at the state-of-the-art dealership on the Balmoral Business Park just off the A956.
Since moving from its temporary location at the Bridge of Don, it says it has seen unprecedented demand from the public for the Nissan brand.
Ken Browne, dealer principal at Nissan in Aberdeen, said: “It’s been a phenomenal year. We went from a little showroom on the other side of town that could fit just three cars to this purpose-built, modern dealership.
“We’ve seen a 50 per cent increase in business, year on year, which is an incredible feat. We have five stars for our customer satisfaction and all our staff are Nissan Academy accredited.
“The company has invested a lot into this dealership but it’s reaping the rewards.”
Specialist Cars is part of the John Clark Motor Group, which also opened up Nissan dealerships in Dundee and Perth earlier this year, cementing its status as the number one Nissan retailer in the north-east of Scotland.
Set on a prominent 3.5-acre site, the Aberdeen dealership has been purpose-built to showcase the very best of the Nissan brand and set new standards of customer care in the Granite City.
The facilities incorporated within the outlet mean it is one of only a select handful able to show the full range of Nissan products. This includes the pure-electric LEAF – the world’s best-selling 100 per cent electric car – and the ground-breaking e-NV200 all-electric van.
Specialist Cars Nissan also became the first specialist Nissan High-Performance Centre in the north of Scotland, allowing it to sell and service the GT-R supercar.
The modern, 15,000 sq ft showroom has customer refreshment facilities and free wifi, giving visitors the chance to browse the Nissan line-up in a relaxing environment.
The site is also equipped with a state-of-the-art eight-bay service centre featuring all of the latest Nissan diagnostic and specialist equipment and staffed by a team of highly-skilled manufacturer-trained technicians.
