Scottish Dental Care appoints new finance director

Scottish Dental Care has appointed Donna McBurnie as its new finance director.

Ms McBurnie, with over two decades of experience in financial roles across various sectors, including drinks retail, hospitality, and banking, brings a wealth of expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and risk management. Her most recent position was at Cameron House Resort in Loch Lomond.

In her new position, Ms McBurnie will have significant oversight over the financial operations and growth strategies of Scottish Dental Care. The group operates 19 dental practices nationwide.



Ms McBurnie said: “Scottish Dental Care has a strong reputation for providing high-quality dental services, and I am eager to contribute to its continued growth and success.

“I look forward to collaborating with the talented senior leadership team and leveraging my expertise to enhance the company’s financial performance.

“It’s my aim to aid Scottish Dental Care in continuing its growth journey and to acquire a greater market share within Scotland’s dental sector.”

Her recruitment follows the recent appointment of a new head of recruitment, Lauren Singh, reflecting the group’s expanding ambitions.

Scottish Dental Care currently comprises 80 dentists, employs over 200 team members, and serves approximately 200,000 patients. It offers a mix of NHS and private care services.
