Speirs & Jeffrey appoints new director

Glasgow investment management firm Speirs & Jeffrey has announced the appointment of Adam Drummond as a director.

Mr Drummond took up his new role last month at the firm which employs around 150 staff at its single office in central Glasgow, with 32 qualified investment managers and an experienced research team of seven.

His new appointment makes him only the 20th director/partner in the firm’s 110 year history.

A graduate of the University of St Andrews with an honours degree in business management, Mr Drummond went on to study for a postgraduate qualification in investment & finance at the University of Strathclyde.

He joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 2010 as a graduate trainee, qualified as an Investment Manager in 2012 and was appointed an Investment Director in 2016. His clients range from individuals and families to trusts, pension funds and charitable organisations.
