Standard Life Investments expands real estate research team

Edinburgh-based global investment manager Standard Life Investments has added to its global real estate research and strategy team with the appointment of Mark Clacy-Jones as fund strategist.

Mr Clacy-Jones, who has 10 years of experience in the industry, joined the company in January from Knight Frank where he held the role of head of data & analytics (commercial research) since April 2016.

Prior to this he was vice president, head of applied research at MSCI Real Estate and head of indices at IPD.

Reporting to David Hedalen, he will be based in Edinburgh with responsibility for guiding and facilitating global strategy across the Standard Life Investments real estate funds.

His deep understanding of international real estate market dynamics, and practical experience means he will instantly add value to our investment team.”
