STC INSISO increases global footprint with Canadian and US partnership

Aberdeen-based software firm STC INSISO has signed a partnership agreement with Canadian firm Hatley Engineering and Applied Technologies Inc to distribute their COMET investigation, prevention and root cause analysis package to the Canadian and North American markets.

Recently merged STC INSISO provides business performance improvements through the smart integration of process design, health and safety solutions, training and innovative software. Created by professional investigators with major incident experience, their COMET product comprises a unique methodology, training package and online solution for incident investigation, root cause analysis and prevention.

This agreement is the latest in a series of global distributor partnerships secured by STC INSISO over the last 12 months, aimed at introducing their product range to new markets and industrial sectors, and expanding their international footprint.



Their strategic partnership with Practical Solutions Group (PSG) Services Australia Pty Ltd will enable clients in the Asia Pacific region to access STC INSISO’s COMET incident investigation and root cause analysis methodology. Based in Perth, Western Australia, PSG is a professional risk management consultancy offering a full range of health, safety and environment (HS&E) consulting and training solutions.

STC INSISO also has a distributor agreement partnership with Middle East firm PROCYON Group, which offers consultancy and training solutions to enhance operational efficiency and performance. With a significant foothold in the region, the tie-up with PROCYON will help STC INSISO tap into the Gulf energy market.

With collaboration a core piece of the STC INSISO growth strategy, they also have strategic partnerships with Lloyd’s Register and Cummins Group, as well as a partnership with human factors specialists IHF to create an industry-first human factors analysis tool, which has been integrated into their COMET incident investigation, root cause analysis and prevention software platform.

STC Global and INSISO reported a combined turnover last financial year of £2.75 million, with the ambition to grow to £3.5m in the coming 12 months as STC INSISO.

Their service offering comprises end-to-end incident management and root cause analysis solutions, bespoke software development services, an extensive app portfolio, process design and internationally accredited learning and development programmes.
