TC Young bolsters private client team

Scottish law firm TC Young has announced that Richard Murray has joined the firm as a partner in the Edinburgh office to build the firm’s private client team in the east.

He has over 30 years’ experience dealing with private client matters having been involved in all aspects of the preparation of wills and powers of attorney.

He also has long years of experience in the setting up, administration, and termination of trusts (including charitable trusts).

Mr Murray is also an expert in the administration of complex executries, issues of succession, and inheritance tax planning.

Prior to qualification as a solicitor, he qualified as a Scottish Law Accountant (“SLA”), a qualification that he still holds. Indeed, he is current national president of the Society of Law Accountants in Scotland (SOLAS).
